After a whirlwind trip through Christchurch, the team has arrived safely at McMurdo Station.

Bravo 134, traveling aboard a C-17 US Air Force jet touched down at Pegasus Blue ice runway, McMurdo Station, Antarctica, on September 30th, 2010. We had a picture perfect trip through the preparatory steps of getting here: flights from the US to Christchurch NZ, clothing issue at the CDC, and the final flight south.  I'm writing this post to report our successful arrival; the team will report in soon...when they get back from snow school. For now, the PI is off to find a hot cup of tea!
