The Ocean Acidification session co-organized by Prof. Hofmann was featured in an official AAAS press conference (attended by press representatives of the BBC, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, among others). Also featured was a video produced by AAAS. Prof. Hofmann gives an overview of the on-going OMEGAS project, the Antarctic research, and the relevance of the science, both for the oceanography and the biology.
Meanwhile in the Exhibition Hall, the CBC News grabbed a soundbite from Pauline at the NSF booth, and briefly featured the OA demonstrations being performed. The clip appeared on the Saturday Evening News broadcast which can be viewed in its entirety here (the clip about the meeting commences at 5:36).
