Introducing CeSOC
First CeSOC workshop held in Santa Barbara
UCSB hosted the first international workshop of the Consortium for the Study of Ocean Change/Consorcio para el Estudio del Océano en Cambio (CeSOC) on June 27-29, 2012. The workshop featured 15 participants from 5 universities in Mexico, including Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC), Universidad Autónoma de Baja California sur (UABCS), Centro de Investigaciones Biologicas del Noroeste (CIBNOR), Centro de Investigacion en Alimentacion y Desarrollo (CIAD), and Universidad del Mar (UMAR). The workshop activity was funded by the UC-MEXUS program and is co-chaired by Prof. Eugenio Carpizo-Ituarte of UABC, and Prof. Hofmann.
